Our program is open to Sylvania Recreation District residents as well as non-residents and is intended for children of all ability levels. The philosophy of our soccer programs is to promote a fun learning experience in an organized environment. The program will help each child improve on the skills of the game from the beginning to the end of the season through sound coaching. Our volunteer coaches will place emphasis on teaching the fundamentals, working as a team and having fun. Register today your child today and begin making great sports memories.

Sylvania Recreation and Pacesetter Soccer Club continue their partnered efforts to offer a youth soccer program for children who are in kindergarten through 3rd grades. An added component will feature coaching and player instruction that will be provided by the highly qualified Pacesetter Soccer Club coaches. This is a great opportunity for volunteer coaches to gain first-hand training while coaching a team in our program. Teams will be formed based on the child’s current grade. Each age group will have its own dedicated training night that will be held at Pacesetter Park and led by the professional coaching staff of the Pacesetter Soccer Club with assistance from the program’s parent volunteer coaches. Volunteer coaches are strongly encouraged to schedule additional practices. We look forward to seeing your child participate in our program.

This program will help children learn soccer through continuing to properly practice important fundamentals of the game. The prime focus of the program is to continue skill development and team building in a fun learning environment. The season will consist of one practice per week and one game per week (six games total). All games will be held at Pacesetter Park and practices will be held at facilities around Sylvania as organized by the coach of your child’s team.
