We offer a varitey of swim lessons seasonally at Plummer Pool that are suited to your child’s comfort level in the water. From parent/child, beginner to intermediate, class sizes are limited to optimize each child’s learning during each session.
These lessons will teach water safety and more importantly introduce infants and toddlers to being more comfortable around water through fun and interactive sessions with their parent.

Introduction to basic personal water safety and skills to help participants feel comfortable in the water. They will learn elementary aquatic skills to start developing positive attitudes, good swimming habits and safe practices in and around the water.

To give participants success with fundamental skills. Participants learn to float without support and recover. This level marks the beginning of true locomotion skills. Children progress through alternating arm and leg actions on the front and back that lay the foundation for future strokes.

Will build on previously learned skills with guided practice. Participants will learn to survival float, swim the front crawl and elementary backstroke. They will also be introduced to the scissors and dolphin kicks and builds on the fundamentals of stroke improvement.
For those who have completed the Flounder level of swim lessons, we encourage those participants who have an interest in swimming to participate in the Summer Swim team that runs from early June – mid July. Click here for more information!
