Our program focuses on the enjoyment of playing basketball in a controlled setting, as well as fundamental training through the drills necessary to properly develop. Boys and girls who live within the Sylvania School District and are currently enrolled in Kindergarten are eligible. The program will operate at the Sports and Exhibition Center at Tam-O-Shanter.
Dates: Late October – Mid November 2024 (4 sessions)

Fees: $60 includes t-shirt / $10 additional after deadline

Games: Saturday / Sundays are Possible
Time: 9am-5pm (Saturday) / 12pm-5pm (Sunday) / 5pm-9pm (Weekdays)
Fees: $70 includes t-shirt ($10 additional after deadline)

Teams will be organized based on the Elementary or Junior High District school district in which children reside depending on grade level and number of registrations. Special requests can be taken into consideration, however cannot be guaranteed. There can be no more than two players from the same Junior High District on a Winter League roster. This program is open to Sylvania Recreation District residents only.
Separate Leagues for each grade level will be organized if registration numbers allow.
Dates: November 19 – Mid-January (6 games) / Single-elimination post-season tournament for all teams.

The program begins in late January and runs through early March. Teams will be organized based on the school High School District in which children reside.
